Ehehe! It's all Retrospec, but aren't they cool? [It's easy to pull up his left sleeve a little to show the pattern that encircles his upper arm, but without a shred of shame, Izumi follows it by lifting up the left side of his shirt to reveal a whole host of tattoos.] What do you think?
[Between that and his eight piercings, he fits in rather well at this tattoo parlor.... But they're here for Mao, not him, and Izumi nods along and follows dutifully as Mao settles in the chair.]
I bet it'll be really easy with a piercing gun! And like I promised, I'll hold your hand, okay? Both of them, if you need me to!
[... god, he is absolutely taking miyamura aside after this so he can check him out properly. but he nods to the boy's assessment and brushes mao's hair out of the way of his ear, sort of a comforting gesture.]
Easy, easy..♪ The aftercare's mostly makin' sure it's clean and all. You can't take out the stud for a few weeks so it doesn't heal up immediately and you have to make sure you turn it so it doesn't... Well, it can get pretty attached to your skin if you're not careful? To be honest, if you don't take care of it properly, it can get infected like anything else.
[all very casually said, he's obviously given this type of advice before.]
Izu can probably tell you more, but I'll give you the rundown of your routine: Twist in the morning and evening at the very least, make sure you wash it at least once a day with some soap and water, clean it with rubbing alcohol like twice a day to fend off germs, and don't remove it for at least two months to be sure it's all healed properly. That's the basics.
Now. I'm gonna put this thing at your ear, kinda like a hole puncher, and it'll pinch a bit but it'll be fine, okay?
