Yeah. Well, kids do. We spend time with our families on New Year's Eve and we eat osechi on New Year's Day, and we always visit the temple at the start of a new year.
I still managed to watch the sun rise on new year's day, though, even if I couldn't make it to a temple. I don't even know that they have temples here.
